Alumni: The Kollel's Ripple Effect
The Kollel has a ripple effect well past its physical walls. Along with their dedicated wives, the Kollel members have made a remarkable contribution to Jewish education and community in Minneapolis. Currently, thirty members of Kollel families and alumni hold important positions in Jewish education throughout Minneapolis. The Kollel has consistently supplied local synagogues with Rabbis, and schools with qualified Rebbeim, teachers, and support staff for their Judaic studies departments. In addition to the local alumni, the Kollel has helped its alumni develop and enjoy leadership positions in some of the finest institutions in the country.
Among the local institutions currently staffed by Kollel family members and alumni: Bais Yaakov of the Twin Cities, Congregation Bais Yisroel, Kenesseth Israel Congregation, Sha'arim, Torah Academy, and Yeshiva of Minneapolis.
